What made Dorf 30 excellent for a short break was the speed and ease of getting there – a 7.15 am Ryanair flight from Stansted and 1 hour drive from Salzburg enabled us to get on the slopes by lunchtime! The skiing is great and it is nice to get a small village feel but still have 250km of slopes to ski on. We particularly enjoyed dining at the Lanzenhof where the food was excellent and their selection of farmhouse-made schnapps finished things off nicely! A great place to stay and the nightlife in Ellmau isn’t bad either.
